What can I expect for my child’s first visit?
You will accompany your child on the first “get acquainted” visit. We will perform a complete oral exam, necessary x-rays and a parent consultation. If there is no decay, your child will be scheduled for fluoride and cleaning. If there is decay present, follow-up treatment will be discussed.
When should my child visit the dentist for the first time?
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), American Dental Association (ADA) and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a “dental home” for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral healthcare.
Do you accept my insurance?
We are providers for several insurance plans, including United Concordia, Metlife, Select Administrations, Delta, Guardian, Assurant, Medicaid, MS Chips, MS Can, Military Plans and Denta Quest. We are happy to make payment plan arrangements and also have CareCredit available for those who are pre-approved.
